 Hamza wins after returning to England

After making his international debut with a draw for Bangladesh, the defensive midfielder has tasted victory after returning to England.

Hamza Chowdhury has enjoyed a victory after returning to England after completing the Asian Cup qualifiers. The Bangladeshi-born defensive midfielder's team Sheffield United defeated Coventry in the English Championship.

Hamza made his debut for Bangladesh in the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers against India last Tuesday. Although he shone in the midfield, the match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong ended in a goalless draw.

Hamza returned to England on Thursday after completing the Shillong match. On Friday, he played in the Championship for Sheffield United. His team won there 3-1.

With this victory, Sheffield United's path to return to the English Premier League, England's top league, has become smoother.  They are at the top of the table with 83 points from 39 matches.
